Alice:"My, what a peculiar place to have a party. You know, Dinah. we shouldn't be doing this. After all, we haven't been invited. And curiosity lead to trouble. Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! .... Goodbye, Dinah! Goodbye! Well, after this I shall think nothing of fa- of falling downstairs! Goodness! What if I should fall right through the center of the eeeaaarth. oh, and come out the other side, where people walk upside down? Oh, but that's silly. Nobody- Oh! Oh. Mister Rabbit! Wait! Please! Curiouser and curiouser!"
　The rabbit-hole went straight on like a tunnel for some way, and then dipped suddenly down, so suddenly that Alice had not a moment to think about stopping herself before she found herself falling down a very deep well.
　Either the well was very deep, or she fell very slowly, for she had plenty of time as she went down to look about her and to wonder what was going to happen next. First, she tried to look down and make out what she was coming to, but it was too dark to see anything; then she looked at the sides of the well, and noticed that they were filled with cupboards and book-shelves; here and there she saw maps and pictures hung upon pegs. She took down a jar from one of the shelves as she passed; it was labelled ‘ORANGE MARMALADE’, but to her great disappointment it was empty: she did not like to drop the jar for fear of killing somebody, so managed to put it into one of the cupboards as she fell past it.

　Der Eingang zum Kaninchenbau lief erst geradeaus, wie ein Tunnel, und ging dann plötzlich abwärts; ehe Alice noch den Gedanken fassen konnte sich schnell festzuhalten, fühlte sie schon, daß sie fiel, wie es schien, in einen tiefen, tiefen Brunnen.
　Entweder mußte der Brunnen sehr tief sein, oder sie fiel sehr langsam; denn sie hatte Zeit genug, sich beim Fallen umzusehen und sich zu wundern, was nun wohl geschehen würde. Zuerst versuchte sie hinunter zu sehen, um zu wissen wohin sie käme, aber es war zu dunkel etwas zu erkennen. Da besah sie die Wände des Brunnens und bemerkte, daß sie mit Küchenschränken und Bücherbrettern bedeckt waren; hier und da erblickte sie Landkarten und Bilder, an Haken aufgehängt. Sie nahm im Vorbeifallen von einem der Bretter ein Töpfchen mit der Aufschrift: »Eingemachte Apfelsinen«, aber zu ihrem großen Verdruß war es leer. Sie wollte es nicht fallen lassen, aus Furcht Jemand unter sich zu tödten; und es gelang ihr, es in einen andern Schrank, an dem sie vorbeikam, zu schieben.

　Le terrier était d’abord creusé horizontalement comme un tunnel, puis il présentait une pente si brusque et si raide qu’Alice n’eut même pas le temps de songer à s’arrêter avant de se sentir tomber dans un puits apparemment très profond.
　Soit que le puits fût très profond, soit que Alice tombât très lentement, elle s’aperçut qu’elle avait le temps, tout en descendant*1, de regarder autour d’elle et de se demander ce qui allait se passer. D’abord, elle essaya de regarder en bas pour voir où elle allait arriver, mais il faisait trop noir pour qu’elle pût rien distinguer. Ensuite, elle examina les parois du puits, et remarqua qu’elles étaient garnies de placards et d’étagères ; par endroits, des cartes de éographie et des bleaux se trouvaient accrochés à des pitons. En passant, elle prit un pot sur une étagère ; il portait une étiquette sur laquelle on lisait : MARMELADE D’ORANGES, mais, à la grande déception d’Alice, il était vide. Elle ne voulut pas le aisser tomber de peur de tuer quelqu’un et elle s’arrangea pour le poser dans un placard devant lequel elle passait, tout en tombant.

　La buca della conigliera sfilava diritto come una galleria di tunnel, e poi s'inabissava tanto rapidamente che Alice non ebbe un solo istante per considerare se avesse potuto fermarsi, poichè si sentiva cader giù rotoloni in qualche precipizio che rassomigliava a un pozzo profondissimo.
　Una delle due, o il pozzo era arci-profondo, o ella vi ruzzolava assai adagino, poichè ebbe tempo, mentre cadeva, di guardare tutto intorno, e stupiva pensando a ciò che le avverrebbe poi. Prima di tutto aguzzò la vista e cercò di vedere nel fondo per scoprire ciò che le accaderebbe, ma gli era bujo affatto e non ci si vedea punto: indi guardò alle pareti del pozzo ed osservò ch'erano ricoperte di credenze e di scaffali da libri; quà e là vide mappe e quadri che pendeano da' chiodi. Andando giù prese di volo un vasettino che aveva un cartello, lo lesse: "CONSERVA D'ARANCE," ma oimè! era vuoto e restò delusa: non volle lasciar cadere il vasettino per non ammazzare chi era in fondo, e andando sempre giù lo depose in un'altra credenza.

　Al principio,la madriguera del conejo se extendía en línea recta como un túnel, y después torció bruscamente hacia abajo, tan bruscamente que Alicia no tuvo siquiera tiempo de pensar en detenerse y se encontró cayendo por lo que parecía un pozo muy profundo.
　O el pozo era en verdad profundo, o ella caía muy despacio, porque Alicia, mientras descendía, tuvo tiempo sobrado para mirar a su alrededor y para preguntarse qué iba a suceder después. Primero, intentó mirar hacia abajo y ver a dónde iría a parar, pero estaba todo demasiado oscuro para distinguir nada. Después miró hacia las paredes del pozo y observó que estaban cubiertas de armarios y estantes para libros: aquí y allá vio mapas y cuadros, colgados de clavos, Cogió, a su paso, un jarro de los estantes. Llevaba una etiqueta que deciá: MERMELADA DE NARANJA, pero vio, con desencanto, que estaba vació. No le pareció bien tirarlo al fondo, por miedo a matar a alguien que anduviera por abajo, y se las arregló para dejarlo en otro de los estantes mientras seguía descendiendo.

　A toca do coelho, no começo, alongava-se como um túnel, mas de repente abria-se como um poço, tão de repente que Alice não teve um segundo sequer para pensar em parar, antes de se ver caindo no que parecia ser um buraco muito fundo.
　Ou o poço era profundo demais, ou ela caía muito devagar, pois teve tempo de sobra durante a queda para olhar em volta e perguntar-se o que iria acontecer em seguida. Primeiro, tentou olhar para baixo, para ver aonde estava indo, mas estava escuro demais para ver qualquer coisa: então, olhou para as paredes do poço e notou que estavam cheias de armários e prateleiras: aqui e ali viu mapas e quadros pendurados. Enquanto passava, pegou de uma das prateleiras um pote: tinha o rótulo “GELÉIA DE LARANJA”, mas para seu desapontamento estava vazio: não quis jogar fora o pote, com medo de acertar mortalmente alguém lá embaixo, então, esforçou-se por colocá-lo de volta em uma das prateleiras enquanto passava.

　Нора сначала шла прямо, ровная, как туннель, а потом вдруг круто обрывалась вниз . Не успела Алиса и глазом моргнуть, как она начала падать, словно в глубокий колодец.
　То ли колодец был очень глубок, то ли падала она очень медленно, только времени у нее было достаточно, чтобы прийти в себя и подумать, что же будет дальше. Сначала она попыталась разглядеть, что ждет ее внизу, но там было темно, и она ничего не увидела. Тогда она принялась смотреть по сторонам. Стены колодца были уставлены шкафами и книжными полками; кое где висели на гвоздиках картины и карты. Пролетая мимо одной из полок, она прихватила с нее банку с вареньем. На банке было написано «АПЕЛЬСИНОВОЕ», но увы! она оказалась пустой. Алиса побоялась бросить банку вниз – как бы не убить кого нибудь! На лету она умудрилась засунуть ее в какой то шкаф .
